Our Story
Stop the scratch. Start the peace.
NoScratch Baby began with a simple, exhausting problem: a baby who couldn't stop scratching, and parents who couldn't stop worrying.
It started when our son was a newborn, and it never really let up. Every anti-scratch sleeve and mitten we bought had something wrong with it — they slid off, they were a two-handed fight to open, or they wore out within weeks. His eczema meant his hands found his skin constantly, and by the time he was a toddler it was habit as much as itch. We tried the usual things: mittens that slipped off within minutes, lotions and creams that helped the skin but did nothing to stop the scratching itself, sleeves that bunched up or came loose the moment he moved. Nothing held up to a determined toddler for more than an hour.
So I built the thing I couldn't find anywhere: a sleeve soft enough not to irritate already-sensitive skin, secure enough to actually stay in place, and designed so a parent juggling everything else could get it on — or off — in one motion, with one hand. The convertible cuff came out of pure necessity: scrunch it back when he needed his hands free to eat or play, pull it forward the moment scratching started.
It worked. Not perfectly, not as a cure for anything — eczema is still eczema — but it gave our family something we badly needed: a little more calm, and a little less worry. Consider this our olive branch to your family, from ours.
What we make
Our anti-scratch sleeves are a soft, shrug-style layer with covered hands — a gentle physical barrier between little fingers and delicate skin. The cuffs scrunch back to free the hands for eating, playing, and exploring, then pull forward in one motion when scratching starts. No fasteners at the cuff, no fuss, easy to manage with one hand while you hold your baby with the other.
We chose a 47.5% modal, 47.5% cotton, 5% spandex blend on purpose: durable enough to stand up to repeated scratching, soft enough that rubbing won't break the skin. Every seam is flatlock stitched, so the inside stays completely flat — no raised ridges anywhere against your baby's skin.
Made for peace of mind
Because this is a product worn against your baby's skin, we don't cut corners on safety. Every NoScratch Baby sleeve is made to meet U.S. CPSC requirements and has been independently tested for lead content, phthalate content, and flammability.
We're a small, family-run business — and we treat every order like it's going to someone we know.
NoScratch Baby sleeves are a comfort and protection garment, not a medical device or treatment. Always consult your pediatrician about your child's skin condition and care.
